Alexis opened BURST after spending 5 years in the hospitality industry and nearly 10 years dreaming of owning her own business. While on maternity leave with her oldest daughter, Lillian, Alexis realized that if she was going to teach her newborn daughter that she can live her dreams and have a family, that she had to do it herself first. So with a 3-month-old baby, between naps and nursing, Alexis launched BURST Event Co. 4 years, another baby, and 50 weddings later, Alexis is excited to fully step into the role of CEO; shifting her focus to creating new services, allowing BURST Event Co to live our mission of helping ALL couples, regardless of budget, defeat confusion and reclaim the joy that comes with being engaged.

Beverly joined our team after spending 15 years as a Floral Designer and 4 years WOW-ing our clients with her out of this world floral creations. Her extraordinary design talent & remarkable way of understanding a client's vision makes her a true asset to our team & yours. Beverly loves the process of deepening her relationship with her clients throughout their time working together.

Christina joined Team BURST after spending the last 3 years as the Event Coordinator at Darby House in Columbus. Her experience working at the venue level brings expertise in the management of vendors & the event day.  Christina gets most excited about developing a relationship that lasts long beyond the event day.

Ken joins Team BURST after spending 10 years working in project and account management in the logistics + transportation management industry. Ken is a master doer and keeps all of our wheels turning here at BURST. You'll interact with Ken when you initially onboard with us, but most of his work is BTS managing our processes and team.

Kate joined our team after spending 15 years working in the New York fashion industry where she worked as both a Model Director and Photographer's Agent. Both positions put her in the direct lines of planning, managing, and executing fashion shoots and shows. She did everything from managing production schedules to recruiting models and creatives to the creative work of conceptualizing a shoot. She now manages our Facebook Groups presence with educational and engaging content meant to simplify the planning process and make planning your wedding fun again!
